Ownership
Our attitude to your career development is very simple - we want you to drive it and take it where you want to go.
As you’d expect with a large company, we have many divisions, products and facets to our business and therefore want you to find your strengths and develop your abilities. We will help you to do this by providing a programme of rotational placements involving 'real' work and live projects that will impact on our business.
Many of our graduates have actually organised their own placements, identifying what they wanted to be doing and then making it happen.
Structured training
We know there are some key skills that all our graduates need to equip them to begin building a successful career within Bombardier Transportation.
Which is why we have developed an intensive 9-day induction programme that will include exciting courses such as: communication and influencing, project management, financial awareness, rail industry orientation and fundamental management principles and skills.
Mentor
For every graduate who joins Bombardier, we appoint a Mentor. The Mentor will be a Senior Manager and will provide guidance and support throughout your development period, helping you with life within Bombardier and supporting you to gain your professional qualification. |
